From the M1 and Sheffield Parkway
-
Leave the motorway at Junction 33 and,
follow signs to Rotherham at the first roundabout. At the next
roundabout, take the second exit. At the traffic lights go straight
on. At the next roundabout, take the second exit, and do the same at
the roundabout after that. Follow this road (Herringthorpe Valley
Road) road as it goes downhill, past allotments on the right. Just
past the allotments, as the slope flattens, there is a park on the
right, and a sign pointing left to the Baptist Church. Turn left at
the sign along Far Lane. Follow the road as it goes up a brief
incline. At the brow of the hill there is another sign to the Church,
pointing left. Turn left at the sign into Badsley Moor Lane. The
Church is a little way up, on the left.
From Doncaster
Follow the A630 to Rotherham, through
Conisborough, Thrybergh and Dalton. Continue to the roundabout on the
outskirts of Rotherham - with Asda on the right, and a garage with a
car on a pedestal ahead. Take the first exit, along Herringthorpe
Valley Road. After a few hundred yards you will come to a park on the
left, and a sign pointing right to the Baptist Church. Turn right at
the sign, along Far Lane. Follow the road as it goes up a brief
incline. At the brow of the hill there is another sign to the Church,
pointing left. Turn left at the sign into Badsley Moor Lane. The
Church is a little way up, on the left.
